Dezan Shira & Associates is a pan-Asia, multi-disciplinary professional services firm, providing market entry, legal, accounting, tax, HR, tech, and operational advisory to international investors. Sheltons Accountants is a highly focused accounting firm specialising in serving internationally operating clients or clients with international issues.
Our primary focus in our Sydney and Singapore offices revolves around assisting foreign businesses involved in transactions with or in Australia or Singapore. This includes direct investment (FDI), employment of a single individual, exporting or selling online to the local market, as well of course to setting up or managing Australian or Singaporean subsidiaries and branches.
These situations present a wide range of tax, legal, and other challenges, which require specialized expertise not commonly found among most professional advisors. We are very strong on tax and international tax. Our daily work involves the interpretation and application of tax treaties. We assist individuals with cross-border issues, ranging from tax advice to preparing tax returns.
Our primary target group is businesses based in Australia and New Zealand, Western Europe (especially the UK) and North America. We are owner-managed. We have offices in several countries. Our Singapore and Sydney offices work especially closely with each other as well as with our London office.
